Dawn and Neel’s Slightly Sweet Dressing

My fantastic fiance Neel Bulchandani and I invented a salad dressing last night. A friend, not knowing we created it, asked for the recipe. It was that wonderful. Thus, I thought I’d share it with the general populace.

Dawn and Neel’s Slightly Sweet Dressing

3/4 cup olive oil
1/16 cup Red Wine Vinegar
1 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp maple syrup & agave blend
2 tbsp clover honey
1/4 tsp salt (add more to taste)
1/4 tsp pepper (add more to taste)

I recommend keeping a glass bottle from a store bought dressing, cleaning it, removing the label, and re-using it for homemade dressing. Put all the ingredients straight into the bottle and shake it! I also recommend using all organic ingredients. Most of ours were.

Especially good on salads involving fruit! : )

We served it on a salad of chopped romaine, chopped walnuts, pomegranate seeds, crumbled Ricotta Salata cheese, and cubed gala apples.

Enjoy! I once dreamed of having a husband who enjoyed creating salads and dressings. God is faithful in very specific ways. : )

Drink some tea, join the conversation, post a reply.
